The name
Little Creator
From Latin “faber”, creator, craftsman, master, and the Italian diminutive “-orino”, meaning something small and dear.
Our story
We know what a child needs at each age, and we choose accordingly
Faborino exists because authentic Montessori materials shouldn't require a transatlantic order and a month of waiting.
“Help me to do it myself.”
The voice of every child
Who is behind it
Behind Faborino is a person you can write to
My name is Norbert Kovalčín and I founded Faborino in Prešov, Slovakia. For more than fifteen years I designed environments where people find their way and make decisions: first graphics, then interfaces and applications. With children the same holds, only more strongly. What surrounds them shapes them.
I put the range together around one question: does it help the child do it alone? That is why you will find originals and furniture at a child's height here, not cheap imitations.
If you are unsure what suits your child or your classroom, write to me. I answer personally.

Mission
To make authentic Montessori materials accessible to families and schools across Europe.
We work with European brands, led by Nienhuis Montessori, which has made Montessori materials since 1929, through a single European distribution partner, so every order is the genuine article.
Our standard
Authentic, or not on our shelves
Faborino is a curated shop, not a warehouse. We hold one line: every material we carry is authentic and traceable to the maker that made it. No anonymous suppliers, no copies dressed up as the real thing.
AMI approval where the material has it
Each material names its maker and its AMI approval, where it has one. Nienhuis has made Montessori materials since 1929.
Traceable to the maker
Everything we ship can be traced back to the maker that crafted it. If you order a Pink Tower from Faborino, it is the authentic material, not a copy from an unnamed factory.
Curated, not catalogued
We choose what earns a place on the shelf. The Faborino name is our promise that the curation, the guidance and the authenticity behind every order are ours to stand behind.
