Three manufacturers. Ninety years of craft. One commitment to authentic Montessori materials — nothing else.

The original since 1929
Nienhuis is the only manufacturer still working under direct license from the Association Montessori Internationale. Every plane, every bead, every sandpaper letter is produced to the exact specifications Maria Montessori set down almost a century ago.
"If a material has ever been used in an AMI training centre, it was almost certainly made by Nienhuis."

Italian craft in the country where it all began
Gonzagarredi Montessori — known simply as GAM — is the Italian workshop that collaborated directly with Maria Montessori on the very first materials. Nearly a century later, it remains one of only three AMI-certified manufacturers worldwide.
"Maria Montessori's own country still makes some of the most beautifully finished Montessori hardware on the market."

Playful learning for life
Educo is a Heutink family brand that makes durable, colour-rich educational manipulatives for preschool, special-needs, and lower-elementary classrooms. Not strictly AMI-bound, but built to the same classroom-first quality standards.
"Where Nienhuis and GAM make Montessori philosophy material, Educo makes the everyday hands-on tools that fill the rest of the shelf."
Official partners
We only ship what these three workshops make. No rebranded factory goods, no anonymous suppliers. If you order a Pink Tower from Faborino, it came from Nienhuis or GAM — never from anywhere else.
