Cylinder Block No. 2 for the youngest is the toddler version of the classic block, scaled to hands that are still finding out what they can do. The child pulls a cylinder out, turns it, looks for its opening and pushes it home; only the matching hole takes it, so the material corrects the child and no adult has to. Holding the knob between thumb and forefinger is exactly the grip a pencil will ask for later. Made for children under three.
