0-3 Cylinder Block #3 in a child's hands
0-3 Cylinder Block #3 is the toddler version of the classic cylinder block: the child lifts each cylinder out by its knob and returns it to the socket that fits. Pinching the knob shapes the very grip that will later hold a pencil, and the block corrects the child without help, because a cylinder in the wrong hole simply will not sit. Taking every cylinder out, lining them up and matching them back one by one is a short whole cycle of work that a toddler can repeat alone many times over. For children under three, at the age of putting things in and taking them out.
