45° Half-Open Shelf

The 45° Half-Open Shelf is a cabinet unit from the GAM range whose 45 degree form lets a row of furniture turn a corner instead of running straight. Like the rest of the range it is 40 cm deep and stackable, and its shelves can be added or removed as needs change. Half open means part of the storage stays visible and within a child's reach while the rest is closed off, so the material in use is on show and the rest waits out of sight. That split suits a room that needs both at once: an open face turned towards the children and a closed one for the stock an adult rotates through the shelves.
