Addition Snake Game: Individual Beads Nylon

The Addition Snake Game hides drill inside a puzzle: the child builds a long snake from coloured bead bars and then rebuilds it, ten beads at a time, into golden tens. Counting off ten beads and exchanging them for a ten bar is the same work as memorising the addition facts, except the child is checking a snake instead of answering questions. Whatever is left over starts the next ten, so the game runs on until the snake is a row of golden bars. Nylon beads, for children from three years who know the golden bead material.
