Addition Tables Booklet
A nine page booklet of addition equations in no order at all, drawn from across every table. The first two booklets keep a child inside one table at a time, which means the table itself is still doing part of the remembering. Here it is not: an equation arrives with no context and either the answer is there or it is not. Nine pages is short on purpose, because at this stage a page is meant to be finished in a sitting. Forty booklets. Paper and cardstock, for ages 3 to 12.
How to present it
Place the booklet at a table with a pencil. Ensure the child has previously worked with concrete addition materials like the addition strip board.
