How to present it
Follow the Montessori method of presentation for optimal child development.
Place the material on a neutral-colored mat. Arrange the six pairs of color cards face up in two columns, mixing the order of one column

Invite the child, naming the material. Select one card from the left column and examine it carefully
Hold the card with both hands at child's eye level, demonstrating careful handling - 2
Slowly scan the right column from top to bottom, comparing each card to find the match
Use exaggerated eye movements to show the scanning process - 3
When finding the match, place the cards side by side to verify they are identical
Leave a small space between cards initially, then bring together to confirm the match - 4
