Cut-Out Numerals & Counters in a child's hands
Cut-Out Numerals & Counters: International Version brings the numerals 0 to 9 together with loose counters that the child places beneath them. The numerals are laid out in order first, then the counters are set below them in twos, and zero is met as the one numeral that receives nothing at all. Setting the counters out in pairs makes quantity visible and shows, almost in passing, which numbers split evenly and which leave one over. The classic first work with odd and even numbers, for children from three years.
