A third bed that costs no floor by day: the extra bed slides under the ATLAS or ALPY bunk bed and comes out when someone stays the night. A friend from kindergarten, a cousin over the holidays or the evening when the siblings want one room stop being a logistics problem with a camping mat. The transparent oil finish keeps the wood grain visible, so the extra bed looks like part of the bed, not like an emergency fix.
