The third of the three exercise card sets for the cut out labelled fraction circles, with divider tabs in a wooden box. By this point a fraction has to stop being a piece of a circle and start being a number: something that can be added to another, subtracted, and written in a line without a picture underneath. The circles are still there to fall back on, which is the reason the change is survivable, and the third set is where a child stops needing them. Fraction circles sold separately. How to present it
Follow the Montessori method of presentation for optimal child development.
Place the wooden box on a mat. Remove cards slowly, examining the corner joints with the child. Arrange fraction cards in order from simplest (halves) to more complex.
