Geometric Form Cards Red & White

Geometric Form Cards in red and white show each form as a red shape on a white card, so the outline stands out and nothing else competes for the eye. The child lays a card beside the matching form, traces the printed edge with two fingers, then works with the cards alone, moving from the object in the hand to its flat image. Setting the form down on its red shape settles any doubt, because outline and object either agree or they do not, and the child sees it without asking. That step from the solid to the plane is what later makes drawings, plans and geometry readable. For children from three years.
