Hula Hoop in a child's hands
A bamboo hoop of 45 cm in red. Once a room owns more than one hoop the colour stops being decoration and starts doing work: throw into the red one, stand in the blue one, and a rule can be given once and then seen rather than repeated. The maker suggests the hoop as a target for the Montessori football, which asks for aim rather than force and is sold separately. On its own it is for jumping into and balancing along.
