Imbucare Box With Rectangle

The Imbucare Box with Rectangle gives a baby one thing to do: post the rectangular block through the matching opening and hear it land inside. The block disappears and comes back, which is how object permanence is built, and because the shape passes in only one position, the hand has to turn it and the wrist learns to adjust. A single opening means nothing competes for the child's attention. For babies and toddlers from about ten months, after the simpler ball and disc boxes.
