Leaf Shapes Insets For The Botany Cabinet

Leaf Shapes Insets are the knobbed leaf outlines that fill the drawers of the botany cabinet. The child follows the edge of a shape with two fingers, so the outline settles in the hand as much as in the eye, and the names, ovate, lanceolate, cordate, come only once the shapes are familiar. Because the insets are sold apart from the cabinet, a classroom can complete one it already owns or replace a lost piece. For children from about three years.
