A wooden box with a lid made to hold the medium movable alphabet, with compartments cut for the additional Spanish, Nordic and German letters as well. A movable alphabet lives or dies by its box: letters that are not in their own slot end up mixed, and a child composing a word who cannot find the second e stops composing. The lid matters too, because the set travels between shelf and mat. Letters are ordered separately. Birch plywood, for ages 3 to 6.
