Montessori double-sided board 103.5 cm, pastel

On this board a child decides for themselves what to try today: slide down the smooth side, climb up by the holds, work through the obstacle course, or turn the board over and test their balance. The board is double-sided: one side is a slide, the other a climbing wall with holds and an obstacle course that doubles as a barefoot path, and turned with the coloured elements facing the floor it becomes a balance board. Rails at both ends join it to Pikler triangles and to the maker's Montessori rockers, so one board can link a triangle to a rocker. The height at which you fix it changes the slope and so the difficulty, to suit a child's age and nerve. The elements are in soft pastel colours and the edges are sanded smooth. Size 103.5 × 33.5 × 11.5 cm, load up to 100 kg, plywood with a transparent lacquer and water-based paint.
