Open Column Unit

The Open Column Unit is storage without a front: every tray and basket stays in view, which is what lets a child choose work and return it unaided. The space left around each tray matters as much as the shelf itself, because a visible gap shows plainly where something belongs and turns putting work away into part of the work rather than an instruction. At 40 cm deep it lines up with the rest of the GAM cabinet range, stacks with further units, and takes shelves in or out as the layout of the room changes.
