Printed Arrows: Short Bead Chains

Printed Arrows for the Short Bead Chains are the labels a child lays along a chain while counting in steps, one arrow at the end of every bead bar, marking three, six, nine and on to the square of the number. Laying them out turns counting by twos or by fives into something visible that stretches across the mat, and the last arrow always lands on the square. Used with the short chains from three years and read again later as a first multiplication table.
