Puzzle map North America

Puzzle map North America hands the continent over as separate pieces, each one lifted by a knob and set back into the single place that takes it. Since a piece settles into its own cut-out and nowhere else, the child tries, turns and finds the fit alone, with the map itself saying yes or no. Handling the shapes leaves a physical memory of borders and neighbours that a printed map never gives, and the knob keeps the writing grip in training at the same time. It sits in the geography and culture area from age three, next to the other continent maps.
