Reading AnalysisFirst Chart And Box

Reading Analysis: First Chart And Box opens the first stage of sentence analysis, where the child reads a sentence, finds the action in it and then asks who is doing it. The parts of the sentence are placed onto the chart, so sentence structure is something built with the hands rather than underlined in an exercise book. Reading turns into understanding, which is the step where fluent decoding becomes meaning. For children from 3 to 6 who read a simple sentence on their own.
