Rough Gradation Tablets

Rough Gradation Tablets present one and the same surface in a graded series, from barely textured to distinctly rough. The child works with a light touch of the fingertips, often with the eyes closed, and orders the tablets from one end of the scale to the other, refining a sense that sight cannot help with. Tactile work from three to six years, and preparation for the sensitivity that sandpaper letters later ask for.
