At that height a child sits down and stands up again unaided, which is what makes working at a table possible without an adult lifting anyone in or out of a seat. The beech legs measure 66 mm in diameter, fasten directly under the table top and lock firmly in place there. Combine them with a table top of your choice to build the table a group actually needs, and fit taller legs later as the children grow.
