Short Bead Chains Frame

The Short Bead Chains Frame hangs the short chains side by side, so each one stays straight, visible and easy to lift off. Hung in order, they show their own lengths growing from one hook to the next, and a child who has finished one chain can see which comes after it and take it down without asking. Chains kept in a heap get skipped; chains hanging in order invite a child to count one through and lay it out on the mat. The frame keeps skip counting available every day and gives the material a place to return to, for children from three years.
