A wooden box with a lid, made to hold each letter of the small movable alphabet in its own place, with extra compartments for the Spanish, Nordic and German letters that other languages do not have. It measures 20.7 by 33 by 3.8 cm. A compartment per letter is what lets a child find the one they need without tipping the box out, and it is also the only way a set of twenty six kinds of small piece survives a year. Letters ordered separately. Plywood and solid wood, for ages 3 to 6.
