Spindle Box: International Version

The Spindle Box moves counting from a memorised rhyme to a quantity the child feels in the hand. Every compartment carries a numeral from 0 to 9, and the child lays in exactly that many spindles; the bundle in the palm makes the difference between three and eight physical. The empty compartment under the zero is the heart of the material: it shows that even nothing has a number. International version, for children from three years who already recognise the numerals.
