Subtraction Strip Board (GAM) in a child's hands
The Subtraction Strip Board turns taking away into something a child lays out: the strips cover part of the number line and what stays uncovered is the answer. Repeating the same combinations lets the subtraction facts settle by themselves instead of being drilled, and a wrong result shows up on the board rather than in a red correction. Mathematics material for children who already handle quantities and numerals with confidence.
If you are not sure it suits your child, we answer in person.
