Wooden Tray,Small,11*11*2

Small wooden tray, 11 × 11 × 2 cm, is the frame that turns a handful of objects into one defined piece of work. The child carries it with both hands, sets it down and knows exactly where the activity begins and ends, which is half of the order a prepared environment rests on. Carrying it slowly enough that nothing slides off is an exercise in itself, and the tray goes back to the same place on the shelf once the work is finished. The format suits tweezer work, sorting and pouring, and fits a shelf with little space to spare.
