1st Green Cylinder is a single replacement piece for the green cylinder set, so one lost or damaged cylinder does not retire a whole material. Within the set each cylinder differs in its dimensions and the child orders them by eye alone, refining the visual discrimination of height and width. The finished row is its own check: a gap in the gradation or a step that repeats sends the child back to look again and move a piece, with nobody correcting from outside. Because this is the first cylinder of the set, hold it against the row you already have before ordering.
