4th Red Cylinder in a child's hands
The fourth red cylinder is a single replacement piece from the knobless cylinders. According to Nienhuis each set of ten cylinders is kept in a beechwood box whose lid is painted in the colour of the cylinders, in this case red. The child puts the cylinders of the set in the right order by size. The cylinder itself is made of beech and is red. A lost or damaged cylinder can thus be replaced without buying the whole set. The box and the remaining red cylinders are not included. For children aged 3 to 6.
