Advice, warranty and returns are handled by us.
Five square desktop carpets of 48 by 48 cm in anti slip felt, made to stop painted Montessori materials being damaged while a child works at a desk. Painted wood and a hard tabletop are a bad pair: one knock chips an edge, and a chipped pink cube is a chipped pink cube for the next ten years. Felt absorbs that, and the anti slip backing means the mat does not travel while the work does. Felt with a wool blend, for ages 0 to 12.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the dimensions of this desktop carpet?
This square desktop carpet is designed to fit comfortably on most tables and provides an adequate workspace for individual Montessori activities. The compact size makes it ideal for young children to manage independently while defining their work area.
How does this carpet help with concentration in young children?
The carpet creates a defined boundary for activities, helping children focus on their work by visually separating it from the surrounding environment. This physical boundary supports the Montessori principle of order and helps children develop concentration skills naturally.
Is the felt material safe for babies and toddlers?
Yes, the thick felt material is specifically chosen for young children ages 0-3. It provides a soft, non-toxic surface that protects both the child and delicate Montessori materials from hard table surfaces while being easy to clean and maintain.
Can this carpet be used on the floor as well as tables?
While designed primarily as a desktop carpet for table work, it can be used on clean floor surfaces for certain activities. However, its compact size is optimized for tabletop use, making it perfect for homes with limited space or classroom table activities.
How do I clean and maintain the felt carpet?
The felt material can be spot cleaned with mild soap and water for spills. For deeper cleaning, hand wash gently in cool water and lay flat to dry. Regular brushing can help maintain the felt's texture and remove dust or debris.
