Printed Numerals Box

The Printed Numerals Box gives the printed numerals a fixed home, so the set stays complete and a child can fetch it and put it back alone. The numerals are lifted out, ranged in order on the mat and matched to quantities, then returned to their compartments when the work is finished. An empty space at tidying time says plainly that one numeral is still lying somewhere, and the child goes to look for it.
