Tempera Paint - Premium in a child's hands
Premium tempera paint in pink, 500 ml, from the range mixed to the colours of the Montessori materials. Pink is a tint rather than a primary, which is exactly what makes it interesting to have in a bottle: a child can mix red and white towards it and compare, and the comparison is a lesson in how much white a colour needs. Pink is also the tower and the three of the bead material. Water based, short drying time. The other colours are separate items.
Creative Expression
Encourages artistic exploration and self-expression through color and form.
Fine Motor Skills
Squeezing the bottle and controlling paint flow strengthens hand muscles and coordination.
Color Recognition
Introduces color concepts and mixing possibilities while building visual discrimination skills.
Practical Life Skills
Managing paint dispensing and cleanup develops independence and responsibility.
How to present it
Place pink tempera bottle on art tray with small palette, water jar, brush, and paper. Include white and one primary color for mixing exploration. Cover work surface with protective material.
- 1Demonstrate holding the bottle with dominant hand, positioning it over the palette
- 2Press gently to release one small dollop of pink paint onto palette
- 3Add small amount of second color beside the pink
- 4Use brush to gradually blend edge where colors meet

3 tips for parents
- Practice the squeezing motion with empty bottles during bath time to build hand strength

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this tempera paint washable from clothing and surfaces?
Yes, this premium tempera paint is water-based and washes easily from most surfaces and fabrics with soap and warm water. For best results, clean spills immediately and pre-treat clothing stains before washing.
How does the flip-top bottle support Montessori principles?
The flip-top design promotes independence by allowing children to open, pour, and close the bottle themselves. This develops practical life skills, hand strength, and concentration while giving children control over their art materials.
What activities can children do with this pink tempera paint?
Children can use this paint for color mixing experiments, painting on various surfaces, creating pink-themed art projects, exploring shades by adding white or red, and practicing brush control techniques appropriate for ages 3-6.
How much paint does one bottle contain and how long does it typically last?
Each bottle contains 237ml (8 fl oz) of paint. Duration depends on usage frequency, but one bottle typically lasts 2-3 months in a classroom setting or 4-6 months for home use with regular art activities.
Can this paint be mixed with other colors to create new shades?
Absolutely! This pink tempera mixes beautifully with other colors. Children can create purple by adding blue, coral by adding orange, or lighter pinks by adding white, making it perfect for color theory lessons.
