The rear panel that closes the back of the 93 cm bookshelf, mounted easily to the shelf you already have. Whether a shelf wants a back depends entirely on where it stands: against a wall the open back is fine and lighter to look at, but a shelf used to divide a room needs the panel, otherwise books pushed from one side fall out the other.
