Twenty four photographs making forty eight cards of dinosaurs, each subject isolated on a white background so nothing competes with it. The borders are red and blue, which lets a child sort the two halves back into piles without an adult. No vocabulary is printed anywhere, and that is deliberate: for a child who cannot yet read, a word on a card is a distraction rather than a help.
